Pride Films and Plays annual fall benefit, Simply Sensational, headlined by Chicago?s own Alexandra Billings, will be held tomorrow, November 2 at Stage 773. Others in the all-star line-up include trans performers Honey West and Skylar Kergil.

Also on the bill are outstanding musical performers Michelle Lauto, James Nedrud, Jordan Phelps, Robert Ollis, and Donterrio Johnson. Performance artists Lauren Sivak and Carolyn Reynolds will represent PFP?s LezPlay program, and there will be short scenes from PFP?s current production Design for Living by Noel Coward, along with snapshots of PFP?s upcoming shows Ten Dollar House by Martha Meyer and Rick Kinnebrew, and Raggedy And by David Valdes Greenwood.

And it will all be framed by a fashion show of PFP Artistic Associate John Nasca?s 30 years as a costume designer, as represented by the photo above. In all it is a wonderfully varied program representing all that is unique about Pride Films and Plays.

The event starts tomorrow at 6 pm at the Marketa Sivek Gallery, 1123 West Belmont, just east of Stage 773 which is at 1225 W Belmont. You can pick up your ticket for the evening at the Gallery - no need to go to Stage 773 first. From 6 to 7 pm you will enjoy catering from Conn's Catering, and a selection of wines. At 7 we will leave for Stage 773, where your seats will be reserved in the center section of the Thrust Stage for the performance which will begin at 7:15.
