Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans announce that, due to strong box office demand and enthusiastic audience response, the run of Northlight Theatre's critically-acclaimed production of John Patrick Shanley's Outside Mullingar will be extended through April 25, 2015.

Anthony and Rosemary are two introverted misfits. Anthony has spent his entire life on a cattle farm in rural Ireland, oblivious to the longing of his neighbor Rosemary, who hopelessly pines for him as the years slip away. With Anthony's father threatening to disinherit him and a land feud simmering between their families, Rosemary fears romantic catastrophe. These two eccentric souls scramble their way towards happiness in a compassionate, delightful tale of how surprising love can be.

"John Patrick Shanley's quirky and charming play has clearly resonated with audiences and critics. With this lauded cast and terrific production, Outside Mullingar continues a very successful 40th Anniversary Season," comments Executive Director Timothy J. Evans.

The production is directed by Artistic Director BJ Jones. The cast features Kate Fry (Rosemary Muldoon), Mark Montgomery (Anthony Reilly), Annabel Armour (Aoife Reilly) and William J. Norris (Tony Reilly).

The creative team includes Kevin Depinet (scenic), Rachel Laritz (costumes), JR Lederle (lighting) and Andrew Hansen (sound). Laura D. Glenn is the stage manager.
