BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's only professional theatre performing in the historic downtown district, is pleased to announce its second production of the BrightSide Theatre Youth Project with the under the sea fun loving musical Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. Directed by Jeffrey Cass and playing March 22-March 23, 2014 at the Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall at North Central College, 31 S. Ellsworth Avenue in Naperville. Tickets are on sale now at by calling 630-447-8497 or at the door one hour prior to the performance.

Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. features Kids Performing for Kids who are ages 8 to 16 and from the local area. Alethia Eve, Ben Greenberg, Sophia Hussain, Serena Iwerebon, Hannah Klose, Tyler Matthews, Caitlin Scharm, Bianca Schramm, Greta Thorne, Bryndalyn Zufelt and Mason Zufelt all from Naperville; Ninabella Arlis, Hannah Janka, Abby Rook, and Bean Zaeske from Downers Grove; Kali Cassarino-Sulit, Valentina Filizola and Alyssa Rodriguez from Lisle; Ashley Renfro from Glen Ellyn; Jimmy Romano from Bloomingdale; and Lauren Ventrella from Aurora.

Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home - and her fins - behind and live in the world above. But first she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.
