Lookingglass Theatre Company will offer daily drama workshop programs, based on its renowned Arts Quest and Summergglass Camps, during the course of the upcoming CPS strike (scheduled to start Tuesday October 11). Camps are open to CPS students in grades K-5 and will include physical theatre workshops (which may include juggling, tumbling, stage combat, etc.), as well as storytelling and drama workshops.

Daily camp sessions will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and take place at Lookingglass Theatre, located at 163 E Pearson Ave. For more information or to register for camp, please visit http://lookingglasstheatre.org/event_page/strikecamp/ or call 773-477-9257 x193.

Drama workshops will cost $65 per day; enrollment is limited and registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, though parents may sign up students for multiple days at a time. Since the duration of a possible strike would be unpredictable, all payment will occur on a day-to-day basis. Financial assistance may be available to program participants. More information about financial aid is available by calling the Lookingglass offices at 773.477.9257 x193.
