The League of Chicago Theatres announces two neighborhood pop-up Hot Tix locations: at the Hyde Park Jazz Festival, September 23-24, 2017 and Andersonville Arts Week, October 13-15, 2017.

Hot Tix, a service of the non-profit League of Chicago Theatres, is currently offering half-price tickets to more than 60 shows in Chicago and the suburbs. Half-price tickets are offered for shows happening today, this week and future dates. Attendees of Hyde Park Jazz Festival (September 23-24) and Andersonville Arts Week (October 13-15) will be able to buy half-price theatre tickets in-person in their neighborhood. Half-price tickets may be available to shows such as A View From the Bridge at Goodman Theatre, Alias Grace at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, Spamilton at the Royal George Theatre, Honeymoon in Vegas at Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, The Legend of Georgia McBride at Northlight Theatre, Bonnie & Clyde presented by Kokandy Productions at Theater Wit, and more. The current list of available shows is online at HotTix.org, and the site is easily searchable by date, show, theatre or genre.

In addition to selling half-price tickets online at HotTix.org and the neighborhood pop-up locations, Hot Tix also has two year-round locations in the Loop - across from the Chicago Cultural Center at Expo72 (72 E. Randolph) and inside Block Thirty Seven (108 N. State) - offering in-person deals and customer service for both visitors and locals looking to experience Chicago's theatre scene. Hot Tix offers the opportunity to explore the extraordinary and diverse theatre happening every night in Chicago for a great price.

"For more than 35 years, the League of Chicago Theatres has been operating Hot Tix for its members. The proceeds of the sales stay in the community. Any profit is used for programs to benefit our member theatres," says League of Chicago Theatres Executive Director Deb Clapp. "Hot Tix makes tickets available to Chicago theatergoers for a great price, and we are excited to make the program even more accessible to new audiences through pop-up locations in Chicago neighborhoods."
