Laury was discovered by three-time Oscar, five-time Grammy winning composer
Michel Legrand (
Barbra Streisand's Yentl, Lady Sings the Blues, The Summer of '42 & Brian's Song). He had her then tour with him for over five years as his solo vocalist where she went onto perform at the world's most prestigious concert venues including
Carnegie Hall, The Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas , Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Miami's Stars Under The Stars Concert Series at Marine Stadium and New York's The Westbury Theatre, as well as concert halls in Montreal, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Laury shared stages with many musical icons including
Tony Bennett, Buddy Rich and
Cleo Laine. She reunited with
Michel Legrand at The Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis on his 2011/12 U.S. tour.
