The Kiss Kiss Cabaret is partnering with other Chicago burlesque troupes to produce "Chicago Teases for The Strip: A Benefit for The Burlesque Hall of Fame"on Friday, Aug. 31 at 10 p.m. at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. This benefit will help The Burlesque Hall of Fame (BHoF) save its current location and memorabilia. All funds raised at this event will be donated to the BHoF relocation project. This is the first production of this kind, but it is scheduled to become an annual event. For tickets visit www.GreenhouseTheater.org or call 773.404.7336.

The Burlesque Hall of Fame (BHoF), located in Las Vegas, Nevada, archives, displays and celebrates one-of-a-kind memorabilia from the earliest days of burlesque. In addition to their well known burlesque festival, the "Miss Exotic World Competition", the BHoF currently houses a unique collection of burlesque costumes, posters, playbills, and other memorabilia from the legendary greats like Gypsy Rose Lee, Tempest Storm, Blaze Starr and more. Due to a local freeway expansion project, the BHoF has until Aug. 31st to raise the funds needed to move all of their memorabilia out of storage to a new location before the building is lost.
"Chicago Teases for the Strip" is a two hour, one-time-only comedy and burlesque revue featuring dynamic performances from members of The Kiss Kiss Cabaret, Plan 9 Burlesque, Hot'n'Heavy Burlesque, The Belmont Burlesque Revue, and more to-be-confirmed, all culminating in the largest burlesque group striptease ever seen on a Chicago stage.

The $25 admission price (purchased in advance of August 31st) will secure the ticket buyer's name on the list of donors to the BHoF. A larger donation begets a bigger bonus. See below for the various sponsorship levels. Show representatives will be available to take donations, throughout the performance.

Chicago has always enjoyed a deep connection with burlesque. From the earliest known striptease by "Little Egypt" at the 1893 World's Columbian Exhibition to the modern age of bar-top beauties and superhero spinoffs, Chicago is undeniably a hotspot in the worldwide burlesque community. The neo-burlesque movement thrives in Chicago, today with very active troupes such as Michelle L'Amour's Starlets, Plan 9 Burlesque, The Stage Door Johnnies, Gorilla Tango Theater, Vaudezilla Productions and The Kiss Kiss Cabaret.

Admission to "Chicago Teases for the Strip" is limited to 200 seats, and donor recognition is only guaranteed on advance purchases, so make sure to secure seats for this momentous occasion before it's history!
