The Kiss Kiss Cabaret announces an extension of its summer blockbuster run "FilmStrips: An Evening of Cinematic Burlesque" on Fridays at 11 p.m. through Aug. 30 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. "FilmStrips" offers all the tantalizing teases the Kiss Kiss Cabaret is famous for but with a cinematic twist to the striptease numbers. Hosted by one of the Flattery brothers, "FilmStrips" features the Kiss Kiss Coquettes performing original striptease solos and duets, inspired by the movies. In addition, the show features wild, new opening and closing numbers created by choreographer, Amee Binder.

In this, their exciting summer run of themed shows, The Kiss Kiss Coquettes perform scintillating striptease based upon many beloved films, including "Cleopatra", "Ghost", "The Great Gatsby", "Bambi", "Singin' in the Rain", "The Avengers" and "Jurassic Park".

"These numbers are wildly inventive!," said show producer, Chris O. Biddle. "The Coquettes have really stepped up to the plate for this summer challenge! Bella Canto's "Ghost" solo is unforgettable! We've enjoyed performing these numbers so much and the audience reaction has been so tremendous that we had to extend the run!"

The stars of the show are the "The Kiss Kiss Coquettes" which include Bella Canto, Deja Sue, Elle Rioux, Helena Handbasket, Melody Unchained, Naughty Natanya and Stella Cheeks. Complementing the dancers are a host of hilarious variety performers including magic by The Amazing Tomas and "That Juggling Guy" Brad French. The Master of Ceremonies duties are fully improvised by the Flattery brothers; Max (portrayed by Biddle) and Les (played by J. Ben Parker) and Old Scratch (performed by Mark Henderson). Comedy songs for the show are performed by the Claptrap Family Orchestra featuring Ken Raabe on guitar and Mazurka Wojciechowska on the accordion.
