Chicago tap dancer, street performer, and dance instructor Kenneth D'Jedi Russell and OSE Consultants presents Loved-Lest: The Truth of the World on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 7 pm and Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 4 pm at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee, Chicago IL 60647. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at gorillatango.com/bucktown or by calling 773-598-4549.

Loved-Lest: The Truth of the World follows the narrative of a dancer riding the ups and downs of love, family, and fame. Based on the spoken word work of creator/performer Russell, Loved-Lest presents an interdisciplinary evening of street performance, theater, and dance through the lens of an artist at rock bottom. Russell's line of inquiry asks core questions about the fluidity of identity, how artists navigate a world where their sometimes intangible product can't earn them a living, and where interdisciplinary performers fit in to an ever-digitalizing arts world.

Loved-Lest creator Kenn Russell is a Chicago dancer, teacher, and writer who strives to intersect tap dance, spoken word, and traditional narrative on Chicago stages. He is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago where he received a BFA in Dance.
