Her Story Theater presents SHADOW TOWN, a play to raise awareness on sex trafficked children in Chicagoland. Written and directed by Artistic Director, Mary Bonnett, the play is based on her first-hand interviews, fictionalized for the stage. SHADOW TOWN, a memory piece, following the lives of 4 young girls, a powerful and stirring piece of theater.

SHADOW TOWN will open tonight, October 10, 2013 and run until November 17, 2013 at The Den Theater, 1333 N. Milwaukee, Chicago. Performances are Thursday to Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are $35 and can be obtained at http://herstorytheatershadowtown.brownpapertickets.com

Uniquely woven with dance and music, this memory piece follows the lives of 4 young girls', Marisol from Humbolt Park, Tatiana from the West side of Chicago, Samantha from Naperville and Ling Ling from China. It is their journey into 'The Life' and modern day slavery. It is their lives we need to learn about so others may be saved.

There will be just 24 Performances that feature 24 celebrities and 24 singers. A reception follows each show with entertainment from one of the divas! A Q & A by experts.
