Sirens of Song: An Acoustic Her-story is a musical exploration of the most influential female vocalists of rock and pop. Steve Gritman and Heather Moran, along with multi-percussionist Patrick Ryan have deftly created their own interpretive arrangements, featuring the songs from some of the most influential woman in music history. From Bonnie Raitt to Adele and from Joni Mitchell to Pink, the Gritman&Moran Band share influential stories and music of the great vocalists in contemporary music history.

The Gritman&Moran band is made up of three unique and talented musicians from the Midwest area. Heather Moran is a multi-genre vocalist with heavy Chicago musical roots, acting in theater, playing jazz, performing cabaret and singing in pop/rock bands for the past 20 years. This show was her brain-child; a musical tapestry weaved from all of her versatile and eclectic performance backgrounds. Heather is thrilled to return to Davenports. In the past she has had critically-acclaimed runs of many shows, most notably her Rosemary Clooney tribute shows. Steve Gritman is a guitarist and fiddle player, who has been playing music professionally all over the Midwest and beyond for over 20 years. Pat Ryan has been playing drums and percussion with Nashville songwriters and international recording artists, but his favorite venues are the small intimate settings where the audience is part of the show. You never know what Pat will consider percussion, or how he will incorporate it into a show. The Gritman&Moran Band entertain many different audiences and venues 3-4 times weekly in the Chicagoland area, playing over 300 appearances a year.

Performances are September 16th at 8pm, September 17th at 8pm, 2016 at 8PM & September 18th at 7PM at the Davenport Cabaret Room. Tickets may be purchased for $25 at the door with a two-drink minimum.
