Gorilla Tango's Bikini Shakespeare returns with its latest installment, BIKINI SHAKESPEARE: THE TEMPEST, which performs Thursdays at 9pm, March 7-April 25, 2013 at Gorilla Tango Bucktown (1919 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago IL 60647). Tickets are $15; to purchase tickets visit www.gorillatango.com or call 773-598-4549.

This island romp features the bikinis and speedos you can't resist, with the hilarity and poetry of Shakespeare! Watch as Prospero toys with the lives of some unsuspecting ship-wrecked courtiers, just as they had toyed with his in a time long forgotten. Magic, spirits, monsters, power, and love all come into play as Prospero spins a web of revenge and redemption.

Adapted and Directed by Katie Horwitz, who also directed/adapted the critically successful run of "Bikini Shakespeare: Much Ado About Nothing." Katie is an Artistic Associate and Casting Associate with Stage Left Theatre. An Ohio native, Horwitz has directed in festivals across Chicago as well as assistant directed a variety of shows including "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Cincinnati Shakespeare Company), "Crime and Punishment" (Indiana Repertory Theatre), "As You Like It" (Two Pence Shakespeare), and both "Farragut North" and "The Fisherman" for Stage Left. She also worked on the Theatre Royal Drury Lane's (London) production of "Lord of the Rings: The Musical." This summer she will be directing "Liar's Paradox" for Stage Left's LeapFest 10.
