Faith & Whiskey To Host Canadian Tuxedo Party 6/30

Faith & Whiskey (1365 W Fullerton Ave), the premier whiskey bar and party spot in Lincoln Park, will host a "Canadian Tuxedo Party" starting at 7pm on Wednesday, June 30 in honor of Canada Day aka Canadian Independence Day.

A $100 cash prize will be awarded at midnight - when Canada Day officially begins - to the patron wearing the best "Canadian Tuxedo" costume. The "Canadian Tuxedo" wearing denim jeans, a denim jean jacket and sometimes even a denim jean shirt all together.

Canadian-specific drink specials during the Faith & Whiskey's "Canadian Tuxedo Party" include $1 Labatt Blue cans and $3 Canadian Club whiskey shots/drinks.

A DJ will spin the best of Canadian music starting at 9pm that will include hits from Arcade Fire, Rush, Neil Young, Broken Social Scene, The Guess Who, Steppenwolf, Bryan Adams, Corey Hart, The New Pornographers, Hot Hot Heat, Drake, Loverboy and even a little bit of Snow -- but definitely no Nickleback or Celine Dion.

Faith & Whiskey will also honor famous Canadian actors by showing their movies on its four flatscreens throughout the "Canadian Tuxedo Party" that will include the likes of "Freddy Got Fingered" (Tom Green), "Back To The Future" (Michael J. Fox), "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" (Keanu Reeves), and "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" (Jim Carrey).
