Chicago Opera Theatre Offers Online 'Fee-Free' Tickets 2/18-2/22

Back by popular demand, Chicago Opera Theater (COT) will be waiving all ticket fees when tickets to their 2011 Spring Festival Season go on sale to the general public on February 18th online only at ChicagoOperaTheater.org. Tickets go on sale by phone (312.704.8414) and in person (70 E Lake Street, Suite 815) on Monday, February 21st from 9am-5pm. "Fee-Free" tickets will be available until 5pm on Tuesday, February 22nd.

General Director Brian Dickie announced Chicago Opera Theater's 2011 Spring Festival Season in March of 2010. The season opens with the Midwest Premiere of Tod Machover's Death and the Powers, The Robots' Opera; next comes the second in COT's trilogy about the life of Medea, Marc-Antoine Charpentier's Medea (Médée); the final production of the 2011 Season is HE/SHE, an evening of two song cycles - Schumann's Frauenliebe und Leben and Janá?ek's The Diary of One Who Disappeared.
