Dynamic singer Cathy Glickman makes her Skokie Theatre debut in an autobiographical romp -- LIFE OF THE PARTY INTERRUPTED -- through Glickman's life as she follows her heart, giving up the microscope for the microphone midway through life.

Accompanied by Beckie Menzie, Cathy eases through diverse songs like "I Miss The Mountains" from Next To Normal and songs celebrating her relationships with her husband and kids. ("Hang The Moon" from Smash and "Vienna" by Billy Joel) Cathy explores being a Rock Star, musical theatre lover, and is totally at ease singing comedy songs by Andrew Byrne ("Mommy Is A Rock Star") and Elizabeth Doyle ( "Half And Half Holiday") about Glickman's 27-year Interfaith marriage.

Cathy is a diverse vocalist and is comfortable singing classical, musical theatre, rock, jazz, country and everything in between. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and has made numerous appearances singing the National Anthem at the Bradley Center for Northwestern Mutual. Cathy has taught Kindermusik for 17 years in Deerfield and Highland Park, and her solo CD entitled "Mornings With Miss Cathy" received rave reviews worldwide from children and adults alike.

Tickets $25. At Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave in Downtown Skokie. Call 847-677-7761 or visit SkokieTheatre.org.
