Café Cabaret is an eclectic variety/cabaret show with a strong rotating cast of performers. Hosted by G.P.A. and produced by Roberta Miles, this show will make you wet your pants. Café Cabaret happens every third Friday of each month at Café Ballou located @ 939 N Western. The show begins @ 7p. Donations are encouraged.

Roberta Miles, has become known throughout Chicago as both an irreverent, quirky monologist and producer of Café Cabaret and Loose Chicks. Her one woman show, "I Want a Banana and Other Desperate Love Stories" will be hitting the road in 2015. "Bawdy & Soul: Memoirs of a Loose Chick" a memoir compilation is due for completion in 2015. Roberta is an award winning monologist, a published poet and a well known Jazz singer in Chicago. Her CD; "Body & Soul" has sold over 1000 copies and is available on CD Baby. If that were not enough, Roberta is a fine artist with works hanging throughout the Midwest.

G.P.A. considers himself the Greatest Post Alive and is well known by Chicago audiences. He is an award winning poet/story teller. His work is both erotic and mind-blowing. G.P.A. has published several books which include "The Confessional Heart of a Man," "The Book of 24 org*sms," "Revenge of the org*sm" The Mind of a Poetic Unsub" and his most recent work, "My Name Is Bobo."

The combination of Roberta Miles and G.P.A. has an electric punch that will wow you!

Café Ballou hosts this magical hour. Located at 939 N. Western Ave, Café Ballou is a cozy café with a European flair. The staff is always ready to have good fun. You can satiate your taste buds with great soups, and sandwiches as well as rock 'em, sock 'em pastries. There is a long list of coffees and exotic teas to choose from. Khosro Beik, your host will make you feel well cared for in this neighborhood café. There is always street parking.

Café Ballou supports local artists. It is open: Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 7pm and weekends 8am-6pm. Café Ballou is open late for special occasions, and private parties.
