Big Noise Theatre Auditions for The Drowsy Chaperone on Feb. 14 & 15 from 7 - 10pm at Winnetka Community House: 610 Lincoln, Winnetka, IL.

What to Prepare:  16-32 bars of an up tempo comedic song. Bring sheet music in your key; a piano accompanist will be provided.  Comedic monologue (not to exceed 2 minutes)

You may be asked to stay for dance audition. (Bring tap shoes if you have them)

Callbacks: Thursday, 7 pm Feb. 17, 2010

Rehearsals: Begin February 21, 2011. Rehearsals will be held Monday thru Thursday 7:00-10:00 pm at Winnetka Community House

Performances: April 22 - May 15, 2011; Fridays/Saturdays 8:00 pm, Sundays 3 pm at Prairie Lake Theatre in Des Plaines

ALDOLPHO: European self-proclaimed "ladies man" 

FELDZIEG: Broadway producer

GEORGE: Robert's anxious best man

JANET VAN de GRAAF: The famous bride

KITTY: Feldzieg's dim-witted companion  

MAN IN CHAIR: Musical theatre aficionado who mourns the end of the Golden Era. His recording of "The Drowsy Chaperone" brings the show to life as he narrates. Great story teller, doesn't have to be able to sing well

MRS. TOTTENDALE: The air-headed host of the wedding

Robert Martin: The dashing, ever-cheerful groom

THE DROWSY CHAPERONE: Janet's alcoholic confidante    

TRIX THE AVIATRIX: The brave and brash female aviator

UNDERLING: Butler who falls for Mrs. Tottendale

GANGSTERS: Great physical actors, looking for look a likes
