Prop Thtr is debuting the comedy Alone, With Friends... on June 30, 2017. The play is written by Lee Peters and directed by Alexander St. John. Gay or straight, being dumped sucks. After his first serious relationship ends, Steven Hilton (Jonathan Rivera) seeks advice and comfort from his circle of friends. Through several humorous, revealing and honest moments, Steven realizes he may be looking for love in the wrong places. Along the way, he discovers that friends can be your true soulmates.

Also featuring Nichole Green, Ben Page, Christopher Sylvie, Chris Lysy, and Henry Steinken. Stage management is by Paul Brennan, and the play is produced by Prop Thtr's Diane Hamm and Stefan Brün. The premiere is June 30 at 8 pm. Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, June 30-July 15. Tickets are $20.

Of the debut, playwright Lee Peters said, "When I first wrote this play I thought it was about whether or not gay men and straight men could be real friends. Since then, the play has evolved, and I realize it's more about the power of real relationships in our lives. We spend so much time trying to understand how to be in romantic relationships, that we sometimes miss the subtle beauty of the true friendships we've developed along the way."
