Gamut Theatre Group's Harrisburg Shakespeare Company (HSC) opens its 22nd Free Shakespeare in the Park production, Troilus and Cressida, on June 5, 2015 at the Levitt Pavilion in Reservoir Park. Troilus and Cressida will run through June 20, 2015 with performances Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

William Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida depicts the romance and travails of the lovely Cressida and the handsome Trojan prince, Troilus, during the Trojan War. It features familiar characters from Homer's Iliad such as Hector, Achilles, Helen, and Paris. HSC will present a modern take on this epic war romance.

Audience members should bring their own chairs or blankets and come early to stake out a spot on the lawn. Performances are subject to the weather and any cancellations will be listed on GamutTheatre.org and on local media stations. Spice Grill Mobile will return this year, offering Creole, soul, and international ethnic recipes and refreshments. The food truck is owned and operated by Lynette and Jeremy Davenport of Spice Grill Caterers.

Free Shakespeare in the Park has become a popular summer event in the Harrisburg area, and has regularly been named Reader's Choice for Simply the Best Free Entertainment in Harrisburg Magazine. It is a great opportunity to catch a professional theatre production for free, and is a fun outdoor activity for the whole family.
