This year's annual 'In Memoriam' tribute, televised live on the 86th annual ACADEMY AWARDS, featured some of Hollywood's biggest names, including "Lawrence of Arabia" star Peter O'Toole, film critic Roger Ebert, child actress Shirley Temple Black?, beloved actor James Gandolfini and Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died? exactly one month ago of a drug overdose at the age of 46. Watch the 'In Memoriam' tribute below.

Following the moving segment, Bette Midler took the stage with a moving rendition of her signature ballad "Wind Beneath My Wings."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2013 were presented on Oscar Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center and televised live on the ABCTelevision Network. The presentation, produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, was televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
