Orlando Bloom stopped by this week's Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC to talk about his new film 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.' The actor also shared how comedian Joan Rivers welcomed him to his new neighborhood. Check out clips from the appearance below!

Jimmy Kimmel serves as host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live, ABC Television Network's late-night talk show. Now in its tenth season, JKL is packed with hilarious comedy bits and features a diverse lineup of guests including celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects. Every night, Kimmel delivers his up-to-the minute take on the latest news and pop culture topics from the day's events in his monologue. Kimmel has welcomed such notables as Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep, Eddie Murphy, Tom Cruise, Woody Harrelson, Jamie Foxx, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Zach Galifianakis, Charlize Theron, Tim Allen, Simon Cowell, Adam Sandler, Ellen Degeneres, Mickey Rourke, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Channing Tatum, John Krasinski, David Beckham, Shaquille O'Neal and many more, including Matt Damon... well, almost Matt Damon.

Kimmel's bandleader is his childhood best friend, Cleto Escobedo, and recurring comedy segments include JKL security guard Guillermo Rodriguez, Jimmy's Cousin Sal's hidden camera pranks, No. 1 Celebrity Superfan Jake Byrd and Jimmy's feisty Aunt Chippy. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" features a weekly signature comedy segment entitled "Unnecessary Censorship" which pokes fun at the FCC's crackdown on the media by unnecessarily censoring clips from TV news, political speeches, reality TV and nature shows. The show has also welcomed numerous esteemed guest directors to oversee individual episodes of the program including J.J. Abrams, Quentin Tarantino, Michel Gondry and Jon Favreau.

Jimmy Kimmel Live is located on Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of L.A.'s star-studded Walk of Fame. Kimmel showcases this famous location's unique character throughout his show by regularly interacting with the local "Super Heroes" parading along the boulevard and challenging passersby to participate in various comedy bits. Kimmel has also created many one-of-a-kind concert experiences closing down Hollywood streets around his studio to hold musical block party events with artists such as Coldplay, Lady Gaga and Depeche Mode, as well as special outdoor and lobby performances by Adele, Micki Minaj, Drake, Tony Bennett, Pitbull, Britney Spears, Lady Antebellum, Usher, Lenny Kravitz, The Band Perry, Lil Wayne, Phoenix, 50 Cent, Bush and Gavin DeGraw.

In addition to his nightly show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards" annual specials have proven to be Kimmel's destination for debuting the show's signature comedy pieces such as "I'm F**king Ben Affleck," "Handsome Men's Club," "Hottie Body Hump Club" andTom Hanks' "Toddlers and Tiaras" which have all become huge viral successes garnering millions of hits on YouTube.
