Seth MacFarlane Series TED Renewed for Second Season at Peacock
Peacock’s record-breaking most-watched original series Ted has been renewed for a second season. In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it's 1993, and Ted the bear’s (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham).

Documentary ELIZABETH TAYLOR: THE LOST TAPES to Debut in August
The HBO Original documentary Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes, will debut Saturday, August 3rd on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. The film will have its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Andy Serkis Will Direct and Star in New LORD OF THE RINGS Film
The first film has a tentative title of The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum and will be directed by the Gollum actor, who will also reprise his iconic role from the earlier installments. The film is planned for a 2026 release, with the team already in the early stages of development on the screenplay. Peter Jackson will also return to the franchise as producer alongside Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens.

SiriusXM to Launch New Podcast with Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson
SiriusXM has announced the launch of “Where Everybody Knows Your Name with Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson (Sometimes),” a new original podcast hosted by the Emmy Award-winning actors and friends. Premiering June 12, the podcast will see Ted and Woody reconnect 30 years after the end of their acclaimed sitcom “Cheers,” joined by a plethora of exciting guests.
