Why did Chris Berman win the National Sportscaster of the Year award six times? Can new owners with deep pockets, new players and a refurbished Dodger Stadium bring a World Series trophy to Los Angeles for the first time in 25 years? Does master golf course designer Pete Dye secretly enjoy making golfers miserable with his tough layouts? Those answers and more on the next edition of 60 Minutes Sports Wednesday, April 3 at 9PM only on SHOWTIME.

Berman, the gravel voiced, excitable ESPN sports announcer better known as "Boomer," talks to correspondent Lara Logan about his storied career and a bold broadcast Style that has made him a household name in sports circles for over 30 years.

The last time the Dodgers underwent this much change was when they moved to Los Angeles from Brooklyn 55 years ago. As Byron Pitts reports from spring training, an ownership consortium including basketball and business star Magic Johnson is willing to spend whatever it takes. They already made the biggest trade in the team's 130-year history and upgraded one of Major League Baseball's oldest and fabled stadiums. With Opening Day right around the corner, the excitement and now anticipation is building in the City of Angels.

In golf circles, the name Pete Dye is synonymous with difficult. That's why the PGA Tour is holding more and more of its great tournaments on Dye-designed courses. Steve Kroft tells his story and shoots a round with the legendary Dye, who still plays so well, he can score below his age.
