Last night, Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” debuted its first in-studio musical performance. Raury, the 19 year-old soul, hip hop and folk artist performed “Fly,” a song he wrote after Ferguson.  Raury also appeared as a panelist on last night’s episode along with “Nightly Show” contributor Mike Yard and comedian Natasha Rothwell. 

Tonight, Tuesday, October 20, hip hop artist Joe Budden will appear as a panelist.  Other hip hop artists who previously have been featured guests on “The Nightly Show” panels include: Joey Bada$$, Killer Mike, Mac Miller, Cam’ron, 2 Chainz, Common, Wale, Big Sean, Talib Kweli and more. 
 
“The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm ET/PT after “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” on Comedy Central.
