Contrary to popular belief, Sir Patrick has eaten pizza before last year. Sort of. The actor's appeared on last night's CONAN and attempted to clear up recent false reports. Also, Stewart discusses his recent knighthood. Check out clips below!

Stewart is well known for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and its successor films, as Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men film series, his prolific stage roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and his many voice acting roles.

Stewart recently appeared on Broadway with Ian McKellen in repertory productions of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. The productions concluded their run at the Cort Theatre on March 30th.

The actor made his Broadway debut in Peter Brook's production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1971. His awards and nominations include the Drama Desk Award for 1992's A Christmas Carol and a Tony Award nomination for 2008's Macbeth. Other theater credits include A Life in the Theatre, The Caretaker and The Tempest.

The actor will soon be seen on the big screen in the film adaptation Stephen Belber's Tony-nominated play "Match."

Describing itself as a traditional late-night talk show, CONAN draws its comedy from recent news stories, political figures and prominent celebrities, as well as aspects of the show itself. The show typically opens with a monologue from CONAN O'Brien relating to recent headlines and frequently features exchanges with his sidekick, Andy Richter, and members of the audience.
