The cast of A&E's long-running and controversial reality series DUCK DYNASTY kicked off its 11th season last night by announcing that the show will end its run following the current season. Watch the announcement below!

DUCK DYNASTY premiered in March 2012 and soon became a pop culture phenomenon, BECOMING the most-viewed non-fiction series in the history of cable TV.

In 2013, the series came under fire when cast member Phil Robertson made anti-gay comments and inflammatory statements about African-Americans in an interview with GQ Magazine. The incident threatened the end of the series. Ultimately, A&E decided to suspend the show but did not cancel it.

Season 11 of "Duck Dynasty" will air each week through Jan. 18 before taking a hiatus until March 1 for the final seven episodes. The series finale is scheduled for April 12, 2017.
