Promo Trailer Unveiled For Neil Patrick Harris In HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCHThe first promotional look at the premiere Broadway production of acclaimed cult rock musical HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH and its newly crowned titular headliner Neil Patrick Harris is now available to view.

Pink and black dominates the explosively colorful and eye-grabbing new promo trailer, accented by spurts of glitter and a few peeks at NPH in costume and in character as the gender-bending title character.

Of note, the premiere Broadway production of HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH is currently in rehearsals with Neil Patrick Harris set to take on the title role. Previews begin March 29, with an opening set for April 22.

The official description of HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH is as follows: "Neil Patrick Harris makes his long-awaited return to Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's landmark American musical, directed by Tony Award® winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening). Heartbreaking, innovative, and wickedly funny, Hedwig has inspired a generation. The show was called "the Best Rock Musical Ever" by Rolling Stone and "the most exciting rock score written for the theatre since, oh, ever," by Time Magazine. Hedwig is Neil Patrick Harris' first appearance on Broadway since he starred as The Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald in the 2004 Tony-winning revival of Assassins. His other Broadway credits include Proof and Cabaret. He has been honored with four Emmy Awards."
