TWO AND A HALF MEN Finale Brings Big Ratings to CBS

CBS Thursday featured a big comedy open and a big finale as TWO AND A HALF MEN ended its 12-year run with its largest audience and best demo ratings in nearly two years, while THE ODD COUPLE debuted as the biggest new comedy of the season and the highest-rated in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Feb. 19

From 9:00-10:00 PM, the series finale of TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in viewers (13.20m) and adults 25-54 (4.6/12), and was second in adults 18-49 (3.1/09, -0.1 behind ABC). TWO AND A HALF MEN posted its largest audience since April 4, 2013 and scored its best deliveries in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since May 9, 2013.

At 8:30 PM, the series premiere of THE ODD COUPLE was first in viewers (13.57m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and adults 18-49 (3.1/10). THE ODD COUPLE had the best premiere for a new comedy this season in both viewers and adults 25-54, and was #2 in adults 18-49.

Earlier at 8:00 PM, THE BIG BANG THEORY began the night first in viewers (17.17m), adults 25-54 (6.1/17) and adults 18-49 (4.4/15). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

At 10:00 PM, ELEMENTARY was second in viewers (8.05m), adults 25-54 (2.2/06) and adults 18-49 (1.5/05). Compared to last week, ELEMENTARY was up +7% in adults 18-49 (from 1.4/05) and added +140,000 viewers (from 7.91m, +2%).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (12.21m) and adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and was tied for first with ABC in adults 18-49 (2.8/09).
