A special Wednesday telecast of THE VOICE (1.7/6 in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET): Wins the time period among the Big 4 in total viewers and women 18-34 and ties for #1 in adults 18-34.

Earns NBC's strongest results in the time period since a prior Wednesday "Voice" on March 9.

From half-hour to half-hour, grows in every key measure, including gains of +22% in adults 18-34 (0.9 to 1.1), +17% in women 18-34 (1.2 to 1.4), +9% in adults 25-54 (2.3 to 2.5) and +10% in women 25-54 (2.9 to 3.2).

A Wednesday preview of "Strong" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET): Generates significant sampling heading into tonight's regular-slot premiere at 8 p.m. ET.

On a night of high interest in NBA basketball telecasts of ESPN and ESPN2 and the high-rated "Empire" competition in the 9-10 p.m. hour, maintains 100% of its rating from its second through its fourth half-hours (with this half-hour track - 1.1, 0.9, 0.9, 0.9), while its ABC and CBS competition declined steadily through that 90-minute period.

For its fourth half-hour from 10:30-11 p.m., ties for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and men 18-34 and ranks #2 outright among those nets in men 18-49 and men 25-54.

Note that the NBC station in Portland carried NBA basketball.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.2/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.7/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/3 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
