SHUT UP AND DRIVE with Justin Bell and Rhys Millen will air on Fox Sports 1 today, May 3 at 3:30 ET. Shut Up And Drive is a driving adventure TV show that features two race car drivers who shut down some of the twistiest, most challenging and scenically stunning roads in America and drive as fast as they can, racing against one another to see who gets the fastest time.

This episode they explore one of the remotest areas of Colorado. Fans voted online for drivers Rhys and Justin to test their speed and skills on this road - living vicariously through these two drivers. Flanked by picturesque canyons for at least 15 miles, Highway 141 hugs the Dolores River and is tantamount to driving at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

Highway 141 is secluded, save for the Gateway Canyons Resort, which is about a 30 minute drive and edges the Colorado / Utah border. It was founded by Discovery Channel founder John Hendricks and was ranked the #12 Best Resort in the World by Conde Nast Traveler 2014 Reader's Choice Awards. The scenery is idyllic; the sky vast and clear, the rock formations splendid and the driving makes it a true destination for auto-enthusiasts. There's a dedicated Baja pro trophy truck racing course as part of the resort, where guests can get a ride along or learn to drive the road themselves; there's a fleet of luxury and exotic cars available for rent on site for the spectacular driving, and there's an auto museum showcasing the Hendrix families impressive private collection of about 50 classic American cars.

It's not just the gearheads or the race car drivers that have a fantasy of shutting down a twisty road and taking it to the max in a performance car - everyone can relate to that thrill and adventure, which makes for great TV.
