Patrick Stewart, Leslie Mann & More Present at AMERICAN COMEDY AWARDS Tonight

NBC and Don Mischer Productions previously announced the presenters for the "American Comedy Awards," airing tonight, May 8 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC.

Chris Rock will present the Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence to Bill Cosby. Other presenters include Scott Aukerman, Lake Bell, Mike Birbiglia, Hannibal Buress, Andy Daly, Billy Eichner, Bill Hader, John Hodgman, Johnny Knoxville, Leslie Mann, Stephen Merchant, Adam Pally, Aubrey Plaza, Timothy Simons, JB Smoove, Patrick Stewart and Matt Walsh.

Craig Robinson and The Nasty Delicious will serve as house band for the "American Comedy Awards." The Nasty Delicious formed in 2007, and has been rocking stages with Robinson around the globe with their powerful Fusion of electric funk, Latin jazz, hard rock and soul. The band members include drummer Asa Watkins, guitarist David Sampson, bassist Brian Cockerham, saxophonists Lakecia Benjamin and Reggie Hines, trumpeter Wynston Byrd, and Craig's younger brother and music director/keyboardist Chris Robinson.

All the members of the band have their own creative projects, and have toured and recorded with countless legendary artists, including Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Lauryn Hill, Chaka Khan, Beyonce, Maroon 5, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Angie Stone, the Grateful Dead, Macy Gray, Anita Baker and many more. Craig Robinson and The Nasty Delicious has also been featured on VH1's Hip Hop Honors, "Last Comic Standing," "The Office," the Montreal Comedy Festival and on the "Hot Tub Time Machine" soundtrack.

Craig Robinson is a stand-up comedian and actor, best known for his role as Darryl Philbin on "The Office" and from films including "Knocked Up," "Pineapple Express" and "This Is the End." He also stars in the upcoming NBC series "Mr. Robinson" and the "Hot Tub Time Machine" sequel out this winter.

The "American Comedy Awards" will honor those who have achieved new heights during the past year in both film and television, as well as pay tribute to some of comedy's most enduring personalities. The telecast will acknowledge the work of stand-ups, those who specialize in movies and the actors and actresses who are seen by millions on TV every week. The "American Comedy Awards" are produced by Don Mischer Productions. Emmy Award winner Don Mischer, Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare serve as executive producers.
