Summit Entertainment has confirmed earlier reports that "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe will portray Michael Caine's son Walter in NOW YOU SEE ME 2. Lizzy Caplan and Jay Chou will also appear in the sequel to the 2013 film.

Last month, Caine, who portrayed insurance magnate Arthur Tressler, spilled the casting beans, commenting, "There's a sequel to 'Now You See Me' and we're shooting in London. I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it'd be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son."

The film's official synopsis follows:

One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public's adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in Now You See Me 2 only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet.

Jon M. Chu is directing Now You See Me 2, which also features returning stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman. It is set to hit theaters on June 10, 2016.

Radcliffe was recently seen on the big screen in the supernatural thriller, "The Woman In Black." He rose to international fame starring as the title character in "Harry Potter," the highest grossing film series of all time. Radcliffe starred in Broadway's recent revival of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. He also appeared in EQUUS in 2008. He recently ended his run in Broadway's 'Cripple of Inishmaan.'
