NBC Sports coverage of the SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL opener featuring the New England Patriots at the Arizona Cardinals averaged a 14.8 rating, 25 share in metered-market households from 8:30-11:30 p.m. ET (not including digital data). NBC ranked #1 for the night in metered-market households and adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.

Last night's 14.8/25 in metered-market households is the best-ever for NBC NFL regular-season telecast featuring the Cardinals (the prior best was a 13.7/21 vs. Minnesota, Dec. 6, 2009).
