NBC's GET OUT ALIVE Is No. 1 in Key Demos

From 8-9 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" (1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) delivered half-hour to half-hour growth in every key ratings category, including jumps of 21% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.4) and 10% in total viewers (5.4 million vs. 4.9 million). "American Ninja Warrior" is currently running within a tenth of a rating point of last week's 1.6 in 18-49 (and may round up in official nationals, currently rating at a 1.54) while delivering a gain week to week in total viewers (5.131 million vs. 5.066 million). Versus the same night last year, "American Ninja Warrior" is up 12% in total viewers (5.131 million vs. 4.587 million).

In the time period, "American Ninja Warrior" is #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in all key adult-male demos (men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54) and #2 in adults 18-49.

From 9-10 p.m. ET, "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall) is #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and #1 among those networks in all key adult-male demos.

"Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" retained 100% of last week's premiere 1.4 rating in these preliminary fast-affiliate results and retained 93% of last week's 1.5 in official nationals, making this the highest week-two rating so far this summer for any new reality series on ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX (excluding the post-"Voice" preview of "The Winner Is..." on June 17, 1.9). Last week's 1.5 for "Get Out Alive" was the summer's top premiere for a new reality series on those nets (excluding the first preview for "The Winner Is..." following "The Voice" on June 10, 1.8).

From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "Siberia" (0.8/2 in adults 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) finished within a tenth of a rating point of last week's 0.9 rating in adults 18-49 and is currently close to rounding up to a 0.9 (0.84). In the time period, this week's "Siberia" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-49 and 25-54 versus original drama competition on ABC and CBS.

"Siberia" maintained 89% of its 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its second (to a 0.8 from a 0.9) despite airing in the 10 p.m. ET hour, and maintained 90% in adults 25-54 (0.9 vs. 1.0).


In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


For the Week:

NBC has tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 for the Primetime week of July 8-14. It's the third week in a row NBC has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among those networks.

Wednesday's "America's Got Talent" was the week's #1 Primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in 18-49 and the Tuesday edition finished #3. "Talent" also ranked #1 or tied for #1 on those networks in adults and women 25-54; men and women 18-49; adults and men 18-34, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11.

"Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" and "Hollywood Game Night" scored the #1 and #2 18-49 ratings for debuting new unscripted series so far this summer on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, while "Camp" was the #2 debut of a scripted series on those nets this summer, behind only CBS's "Under the Dome."

NBC tied for #1 for the week among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in women 18-49 and men 25-54.
