NBC has tied for #1 for the primetime ratings week of July 11-17 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, was #1 in total viewers and led in several other key measures, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.
NBC's strong week was led by the #1 primetime show on ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX in 18-49 and total viewers, "America's Got Talent." In fact, both the Tuesday and Wednesday telecasts of "AGT" defeated the Tuesday night Major League Baseball All-Star Game in 18-49 on Fox. "AGT" was joined in the adult 18-49 top 20 last week by "American Ninja Warrior," "Night Shift," "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" and "Maya and Marty." Excluding ABC weeks during the NBA Playoffs, NBC has tied or outrated every Big 4 network every week so far this summer in adults 18-49. Season to date, NBC is tied for Super Bowl-boosted CBS in the race for #1 among adults 18-49 and is tied for #1 in women 18-49 and men 18-34. Primetime averages for the week of July 11-17 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.1 rating, 5 share; ABC, 1.1/4; Fox, 0.9/4; CBS, 0.8/3; and CW, 0.3/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: NBC, 4.9 million; ABC, 4.7 million; CBS, 4.4 million; Fox, 3.3 million; and CW, 1.0 million.Videos
