NBC Sports Group Sets Final Tour de France Coverage

Top American cyclist and BMC Racing team leader Tejay Van Garderen aims for his second top five finish as NBC Sports Group presents the final three stages of the 2014 Tour de France beginning tomorrow. Van Garderen, currently in sixth place after Stage 18 today, finished fifth in the 2012 Tour de France and was first overall in the Young Rider Classification.

Live coverage of the final three stages of the 2014 Tour de France begins Friday at 9 a.m. ET with Stage 19 and culminates this Sunday at 9 a.m. ET with Stage 21 on NBCSN. On Sunday, NBC presents a special Tour de France Review Show at 2 p.m. ET featuring highlights and analysis from the tour.

NBCSN's live Tour de France coverage is averaging 283,000 viewers -- up 12% from last year at this point (253,000). NBCSN's nightly Tour Primetime show is averaging 222,000 viewers, up 28% from 2013 (173,000) -- its best viewership since Lance Armstrong's comeback in 2009.

Tour de France coverage continues tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Tour Primetime featuring highlights and analysis from Stage 18 from Pau to Hautacam.
