Miley Cyrus was forced to cancel her scheduled Bangerz tour date scheduled for last night at Kansas City, Mo. Spring Center due to a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics which landed her in the hospital. The singer said this morning that she would also be canceling tonight's concert set for St. Louis.

"I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there," Cyrus tweeted. "the hospital is sayin i wont b released today (crying face) therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St Louis. Im so sorry but somethings are outta my control."

According to AP, a statement from publicist Meghan Prophet revealed that the singer is on "medical rest" per her doctors' advice.

A notice posted on the Sprint Center's web site reads:

"Miley Cyrus' "Bangerz" tour date scheduled for tonight, April 15, at Sprint Center in Kansas City has been cancelled. Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled."

Cyrus shared a photo of herself from the hospital bed, sharing that hospital TV is "wacccckkkkkkk!!!!!" and adding that she's "mizzzzzeraaabbblleeee": "Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me" she tweeted.
