A new photo has emerged from the highly anticipated fourth season of Downton Abbey via Carnival Films. The image reveals widow Lady Mary, the eldest of the Crawley daughters, alongside her brother-in-law, recent widower Tom Branson. Both hold their new-born children in their arms. Could this be a clue that a brother-in-law/sister-in-law romance is in store for next season?

As fans of the show remember, Season 3 ended with the fatal car crash of Mary's husband Matthew, played by actor Dan Stevens. Earlier in the season, Branson lost his wife and true love, Lady Sybil during the birth of their first child.

Downton Abbey's fourth season will premiere on the UK's ITV this fall. PBS will bein broadcasting the new episodes on January 5th.
