Four-time Emmy(R) nominee Matthew Perry is set to reunite with Friends co-star Courteney Cox this winter in an episode of the TBS's hit comedy Cougar Town. The series, which also stars Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Ian Gomez, Josh Hopkins and Brian Van Holt, centers on a tight-knit group of friends who keep things funny while supporting each other through the challenges and pitfalls of life. Details about Perry's role will be announced soon. TBS is set to launch the fifth season of Cougar Town on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

Perry most recently starred in the NBC comedy series Go On, in which Cox made a guest appearance this past March. Perry also guest-starred in a multi-episode arc on The Good Wife and starred in, executive-produced and co-wrote the series Mr. Sunshine. Perry's additional television credits include Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip; a memorable recurring role in Sorkin's The West Wing, which earned him two Emmy nominations; and an Emmy, Golden Globe(R) and Screen Actors Guild Award(R)-nominated performance in the TNT original movie The Ron Clark Story.

On the big screen, Perry has starred in such films as 17 Again, Birds of America, Numb, The Whole Nine Yards, The Whole Ten Yards, Three to Tango, Almost Heroes, Fools Rush In and Serving Sara. In 2003, he made his stage debut in the London production of David Mamet's Sexual Perversity in Chicago, which broke the record for the largest box-office advance for a West End show at the time.

Perry is an advocate for the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP), serving as an All Rise Ambassador for the organization. Perry also supports the Lili Claire Foundation, which raises funds for those born with Williams Syndrome and other neurogenic birth defects.
