EVEN STEVENS Actress Christy Romano Is Wed

People.com reports that Christy Romano, best known for her role as Ren Stevens on Disney Channel's Even Stevens has married her longtime beau Brendan Rooney. The wedding took place at Alberta Canada's Fairmont Banff Springs hotel.

"I went there when I was performing The Sound of Music in Calgary with Marie Osmond," says Romano of the venue. "It was such a magical feeling that stayed with me, so I wanted to recapture that on my wedding day."

The couple met in 2011 while attending Columbia University and were engaged just nine months later. "I was the assistant director on an on-campus documentary about veterans," explains Romano, "Brendan was the president of the Military Veterans at Columbia and we met while we were interviewing him."

Romano lent her voice to the title character in the animated series Kim Possible. She also was The Voice of Yuffie Kisaragi in Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.
