ESPN to Provide Extensive Coverage of Little League World Series from Williamsport

ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 will combine to provide multiplatform coverage of all 32 games of the 70th Little League WORLD SERIES presented by Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, from Williamsport, Pa. Aug. 18-28. ABC will broadcast five games from Williamsport, including the International Championship (12:30 p.m. ET) and the United States Championship (3:30 p.m.) on Saturday, Aug. 27. ABC will then broadcast the Little League WORLD SERIES Championship on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to televise 27 Little League WORLD SERIES games from Williamsport, beginning with four games on ESPN Thursday, Aug. 18.

Beginning Aug. 18 ESPN MLB play-by-play commentators Karl Ravech and Dave Flemming and SPORTSCENTER anchor Jay Crawford will rotate games with analysts John Kruk or Kyle Peterson and reporters Marysol Castro or Jaymee Sire.

ESPN MLB analysts Aaron Boone, Dallas Braden and Jessica Mendoza - in her first Little League WORLD SERIES - will be on select telecasts from Aug 18-25.

Play-by-play commentator Ravech and analysts Kruk and Peterson will call the International Championship (12:30 p.m.) and U.S. Championship (3:30 p.m.) on Saturday, Aug. 27 as well as the Little League WORLD SERIES Championship (3 p.m.) on Sunday, Aug 28.

Baseball Tonight presented by Heinz will be on the road in Williamsport, Pa., from Thursday, Aug. 18 through Thursday, Aug. 25 on ESPN.

Crawford and analysts Peterson and Kruk will be hosting the Little League WORLD SERIES Web Gems/World Series Preview presented by Subway on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 12:30 p.m. on ESPN.
