9/11 Firehouse documents the inspirational and heroic story of the FDNY firefighters from "Ten House" who were the first to enter the Twin Towers - and the last to leave - during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States. This documentary tells the true story of the firefighters from Ladder 10 and Engine 10 whose bravery saved hundreds of civilians' lives. Watch as the surviving firefighters recall their pivotal role at Ground Zero and how "Ten House" became a symbol of refuge and safety during one of the darkest days in America history. Narrated by NBC's Willie Geist, 911 FIREHOUSE premieres on tonight, September 11 at 8 PM ET/PT.

For the first time on national television, the firefighters from "Ten House" collectively recall their stories during that fateful day. The "Ten House" firehouse, home to FDNY's Engine 10 and Ladder 10, was yards from the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Minutes after the North Tower was hit Ladder 10 was the first fire truck to arrive on the scene immediately followed by Engine 10. Many off-duty members of "Ten House" dropped everything and rushed back to Manhattan just in time to save those trapped in the North Tower. Facing chaos and panic, the firefighters brought the injured into "Ten House" as the towers collapsed, leaving the entire neighborhood in complete darkness and confusion. Miraculously, the firehouse survived destruction and transformed into a triage center for the EMS.

To this day, many visitors paying their respects at the World Trade Center visit "Ten House" to thank the brave crews of FDNY's Engine 10 and Ladder 10, including honoring the six firefighters from "Ten House" who lost their lives. 9/11 Firehouse explores how the "Ten House's" brotherhood saved lives and brought hope to the thousands of survivors of 9/11.

9/11 FIREHOUSE is produced by Testimony Films and Steve Humphries serves as Executive Producer. For Discovery Channel, Executive Producer is Robert Zakin and Coordinating Producer is Katy Jones Garrity.
