DANCING WITH THE STARS' Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Welcome First Child

Early this morning, DANCING WITH THE STARS' pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy welcomed their first child, baby boy Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy.

Mirror Ball champion Maks announced the joyous news on Twitter:

Back in May, ET confirmed that the couple was expecting their first child together. "They're so happy," a source confirmed. "Funny thing is, they've been trying to get pregnant even before they were engaged."

The DWTS pros got engaged in December 2015, when Chmerkovskiy proposed onstage at the Sway: A Dance Trilogy show in Miami. Murgatroyd told ET at the time, "I couldn't see myself with anybody else. He's the love of my life."
