Carrie Preston Joins CBS' THE GOOD WIFE Season 4

According to TVLine.com, True Blood and Broadway star Carrie Preston will return to CBS' The Good Wife season four as attorney Elsbeth Tascioni.

The actress joins a season packed with big stars, including Kristin Chenoweth, Nathan Lane, Christina Ricci, Maura Tierney, Amanda Peet, Marc Warren, Miriam Shor and Brian Dennehy.

Preston has appeared on Broadway in Festen, The Rivals, The Tempest and Indiscretions. She also participated in a 2010 reading of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters with her husband Michael Emerson, at the Charleston Stage, among many more regional theatre credits. Her film credits include My Best Friend's Wedding, For Richer or Poorer, The Stepford Wives, Ready? OK!, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Duplicity, Virginia and more.

CBS' The Good Wife season four premieres September 30 at 9/8c.
