COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS Propels Hallmark Channel to Most-Watched Network for Entire Weekend

Hallmark CHANNEL continues to ring in the holiday spirit with its two most recent original premieres, Ice Sculpture Christmas and Charming Christmas, propelling the network to be the most-watched and highest-rated among HHs, W25-54 and total viewers for the entire weekend. Additionally, both original premieres became the highest-rated movies of the week among HHs and W25-54.

The Saturday, November 7th premiere of Ice Sculpture Christmas averaged a 2.8 HH rating and 3.3 million total viewers to become the top-rated program of the day among HHs and W25-54. The film also became the most-watched original movie premiere of 2015-to-date among HHs. In its 8pm time period, Ice Sculpture Christmas was the #1 rated and most-watched film among HHs, W18-49, W25-54, and total viewers. The debut also helped propel Hallmark CHANNEL to be the top-rated cable network in prime time for the day among HHs.

The Sunday, November 8th debut of Charming Christmas also garnered a 2.8 HH rating and 3.3 million total viewers and became the most-watched original movie premiere of 2015-to-date among all key demographics. In its 8pm time period, Charming Christmas ranked #2 among household and total viewer ratings and delivery.

Countdown to Christmas continues with the world premieres of I'm Not Ready for Christmas starring Alicia Witt Saturday, November 14 at 8pm ET/PT and Christmas Incorporated starring Shenae Grimes-Beech Sunday, November 15 at 8pm ET/PT.

In Ice Sculpture Christmas, after starting her first job at a country club restaurant, Callie (Rachel Boston) - an aspiring chef - reconnects with her childhood friend David (David Alpay), who is now a wealthy member of the club. When Callie is entered into the club's Christmas ice sculpting competition, she must prepare to go head to head with her boss, Chef Gloria (Brenda Strong). Even though ice sculpting is cold work, the romance heats up between Callie and David as they prepare for the competition together! Callie's passions for cooking and ice sculpting are met with romance and Christmas spirit as she works to create the perfect sculpture.

In Charming Christmas, Rossman's department store prepares for the Christmas season, but its employees are not quite in the holiday spirit. The no-nonsense manager, Meredith (Julie Benz), is busy with the store's possible expansion for her parents Cheryl and Harold, the store decorator, Jessie, is focused on her son, and former Broadway dancer Olivia misses her life in New York City. When the handsome Nick (David Sutcliffe) comes to work as Santa Claus, though, he spreads holiday joy to Rossman's, makes Christmas wishes come true, and even brings holiday romance to Meredith. The mysterious Nick has a secret or two in his bag of holiday cheer - could Nick be the real St. Nick?
