As The Hollywood Reporter discovered earlier today, the men behind CHUCK, Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz, are set to bring Scott Westerfield's MIDNIGHTERS trilogy to Fox. Stephanie Savage of Schwartz's FAKE EMPIRE, Len Goldstein, Leslie Morgenstein, and Gina Girolamo are set to produce.

The MIDNIGHTERS Trilogy (THE SECRET HOUR, TOUCHING DARKNESS, and BLUE NOON) was originally published in 2004, and tells the story of a teenage girl, Jessica Day, who discovers she's a rarity, a "Midnighter." Aka, an individual cabable of accessing the 25th hour of the day, or, "Blue Time."

Schwartz and Savage are credited with the creation of four series on The CW: the final season of GOSSIP GIRL, HART OF DIXIE, and the new series, THE CARRIE DIARIES and CULT.
