CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the Nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, continues season-to-date gains in viewers, according to Nielsen most current ratings. Season-to-date, the broadcast is delivering 6.1 million viewers (up +3% from 5.91m) and a 1.2/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. CBS SUNDAY MORNING has posted more than 6 million viewers in nine of the past 11 weeks.
The most recent broadcast delivered 6.14 million viewers and a 1.2/07 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 22. Sunday's broadcast was anchored by Jane Pauley and featured reports from Rita Braver on the Women's March and Chip Reid on Friday's Inauguration of Donald Trump. The broadcast also featured Mo Rocca's interview with actor Henry Winkler; Seth Doane's look at THE HUNT for white truffles in Italy; Ben Tracy's story of the men who started the McDonalds hamburger EMPIRE now featured in a film called "The Founder;" Serena Altschul's segment on the unique photographs taken using a Camera Obscura - which projects an upside down image into a darkened room; Luke Burbank's report about a non-profit brewpub in Portland, Ore which raises funds for local charities; David Edelstein's look at possible Oscar contenders; and Steve Hartman's report on a group of Florida high school students who made the trek to the inauguration.Videos
