CBS Daytime Dramas Post Impressive Week-to-Week Increases

CBS's two daytime dramas-THE YOUNG AND THE Restless and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL-both posted impressive week-to-week increases in key women demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 8.

Compared to last week, The Young and the Restless was up +15% in in women 18-49 (1.5/09 from 1.3/08), +14% in women 18-34 (0.8/05 from 0.7/04), +11% in women 25-54 (2.1/12 from 1.9/11) and +1% in viewers (4.76m from 4.70m).

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL was up week-to-week by +17% in women 18-34 (0.7/04 from 0.6/04), +9% in women 18-49 (1.2/07 from 1.1/07) and +1% in viewers (3.59m from 3.54m).

The Bold and the Beautiful is a drama combining romance and intrigue set against the glittering backdrop of Beverly Hills and the American fashion industry.

The Young and the Restless is a continuing drama revolving around the loves, enmities, hopes and fears of the residents of the fictional Midwestern town of Genoa City
