You know? For a Friday night, there is actually some good stuff to watch on TV tonight. Friday's "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks feature a classic work of the American stage, a gazillion-time Emmy winning competition show, and an A-lister talking to Jimmy Fallon about his upcoming Broadway show. Not a bad way to spend an evening, instead of crying over the fact that you have no friends to go out with. Cheers! So, what will you be watching tonight?

BWW TV World will bring you a handful of picks from across the TV landscape. So, if you have nothing to do each night, check in with us, and we will tell you the best ways to spend your primetime hours.

All times are Eastern

THE AMAZING RACE | 8:00-9:00pm | CBS
By: Kara McCoy | @i_got_the_tweet

This week, the contestants make their way from Scotland to Denmark. Will Misti and Jim's perfect teeth help them navigate the streets Copenhagen and place first again? Probably. But I'll be too busy rooting on Adam and Bethany to care.

THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS FROM SAN FRANSISCO OPERA| 9:00pm-12:00am | PBS
By: Dylan Siegman | @Dsiggy15

I'm pretty just about everyone knows the Gershwin Brothers...if not, you should probably crawl out from under your rock. Porgy and Bess is by far their most famous and in my opinion most beautiful in terms of both music and storyline. You definitely don't want to miss this wonderful show being played by this extravagant opera.

SHARK TANK | 9:00-10:00pm | ABC
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

I admit, there is something about SHARK TANK that I not only find entertaining, but that I also find oddly soothing. I don't know if it is the dulcet tones of Daymond John, or the comic absurdity of Kevin O'Leary, but it is a nice hour of escapist television, where you don't have to worry about who killed their lover, or whether or not someone will discover the main character's super power (unless you count Mark Cuban's side-eye).

THE TONIGHT SHOW | 11:35pm-12:35am | NBC
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

Dating back to his hairtastic appearances on INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO, Bradley Cooper has always been good TV, but after the Brad Pitt Dance Conversation this week, the bars high for him tonight on THE TONIGHT SHOW. While he is probably there to promote some movie or something lame like that, I am hoping that Bradley Cooper will give us a sneak peek of his THE ELEPHANT MAN.

So, what are you gonna be watching tonight? What's getting DVRed, and what's get left behind? Let us know in the comments below or on social media.
