Brett Stimely to Portray JFK in Tom Hank's Film PARKLAND

The Tom Hanks-producing, with Peter Landesman directing, John F. Kennedy assassination film PARKLAND is a recounting of the chaotic events that occurred at Dallas' Parkland Hospital. Brett Stimely is joining the film's current cast of Academy Award winners Billy Bob Thornton and Marcia Gay Harden , eight-time Teen Choice Award winner Zac Efron , and Oscar nominees Paul Giamatti , and Jacki Weaver . Director Peter Landesman wrote the script based on Vincent Bugliosi 's award winning book, "Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy ."

This will be Brett Stimely's fourth time portraying JFK. Brett Stimely has landed JFK for Tom Hanks'-produced Parkland. He played JFK in the blockbuster Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Watchmen and the soon to be released El Infierno Y La Gloria aka Kill the Dictator.

Hanks' Playtone, is currently producing Electric City (TV series short) and will shortly head to Austin, TX to shoot Parkland.

Brett Stimely 's film credits include his most recent multiple award-winning film that he wrote (the adaptation) produced and starred in, Ray Bradbury 's Kaleidoscope.

Parkland with Brett Stimely is set to begin shooting within the next few weeks.
